WE ARE LOOKING FOR QUALIFIED CHEER COACHES WHO...
Have previous cheerleading experience

Enjoy working with children, ages 4-15 and would you like to get back into cheerleading as a coach

Are at least 18 years or older

Have reliable transportation on a weekly basis

Are enthusiastic, positive and passionate about cheerleading

Can lead by example and be a role-model to youth!

This Cheer Coach position is for one evening per week, set day of the week that stays consistent for the full semester, such as every Tuesday evening (for example), coaching three age-groups of students (teams) the basics in cheerleading and cheer dance (with some use of poms). Experience with teaching children and choreographing cheer/dance routines and performance-oriented cheers is a plus. Our Cheer Coaches also participate in three or four paid weekend events each semester (dates set in advance).

Coaching responsibilities include practice preparations/lesson plan, teaching students safe and effectively, overseeing practice check-ins, choreographing dance routines and performance cheers per team level, team stunting fundamentals and execution and basic record-keeping.

Paid training sessions will cover our organization teaching guidelines, records, and assisting a veteran coach to see how classes are conducted. This is truly one of the most fun part-time jobs you can imagine for great pay!
