Job description

As a Restaurant Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service:
    • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
    • Seat guests promptly and efficiently, considering their preferences and party size.
    • Manage wait times and inform guests of estimated wait times.
    • Answer guest inquiries and address concerns promptly.
    • Assist with special requests and dietary restrictions.
  • Reservations:
    • Manage reservations and maintain accurate records.
    • Confirm reservations and update the reservation system.
    • Handle cancellations and modifications efficiently.
  • Restaurant Operations:
    • Monitor restaurant capacity and seating arrangements.
    • Assist with table setups and resets.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area.
    • Coordinate with the waitstaff to ensure smooth service.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Assist with other restaurant duties as needed, such as bussing tables or food running.
    • Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Positive and outgoing personality.
