Position Overview
We are looking for a professional, friendly, and highly organized Patient Check-In/Front Desk Coordinator to join our medical clinic. This position is responsible for creating a positive patient experience from the moment a patient walks through the door while ensuring check-in, scheduling, and front-office processes are handled accurately and efficiently. 
Key Responsibilities
  •  Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival. 
  •  Check patients in and verify demographic, insurance, and contact information. 
  •  Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments when applicable. 
  •  Ensure all required patient paperwork and forms are completed. 
  •  Confirm and update insurance information and identification. 
  •  Notify clinical staff when patients arrive and maintain accurate patient flow. 
  •  Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate department or staff member. 
  •  Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments according to clinic guidelines.  
  •  Monitor the waiting room and communicate delays appropriately. 
  •  Handle patient questions and concerns professionally and know when to escalate issues to management or clinical staff. 
  •  Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements. 
  •  Keep the front desk and waiting area organized and professional. 
  •  Document patient interactions and relevant information accurately. 
  •  Work closely with providers, nurses/NPs/PAs, billing, scheduling, and other departments. 
  •  Follow all clinic policies and procedures. 
  •  Help maintain a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
