The Center for Humanย Development (CHD)isย seekingDirectย Care Staffto join our team at Hawthorn Adult Day Health programย locatedย inย West Springfield, MA. The Hawthorn program is dedicated to helping people live life to the fullest.ย We provide medical services, plan social activities, or simply offer supervision so the regular caregivers of the individuals we serve can attend to other responsibilities.ย 

Your role as aDirect Care Staff:ย ย 

As a Direct Care teamย member,ย you will beย working with adults with various medical and psychological needs. Supportingย client'sย activities of daily living,ย organizingย and implementing recreational activitiesย including communityย outings,ย creatingย professional and supportiveย boundariesย andย utilizingย problem solvingย skillsย 

Requirements Include:ย 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferredย 
  • High School diploma or GEDย requiredย 
  • Experience in the Human Services field is a plus.ย 
  • Ability to pass certification for CPRย andย First Aid.ย 
  • Reliable, registered & insured vehicleย and approved driving record check.ย 
  • Approved criminal background check (CORI)ย 
  • Passย the preplacementย workย physical.ย
