) Senior Living Cook
Job Summary:
Charter Senior Living of Cookeville is seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Living Cook to join our dedicated team of professionals. As a Senior Living Cook, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents, while also ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality in our kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a variety of meals for residents in our community, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner options
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
• Work collaboratively with our culinary team to plan and execute menus, specials, and themed dining events
• Monitor meal quality and presentation, making adjustments as needed to ensure excellence
• Assist in managing inventory and ordering food and supplies as needed
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to food service operations
• Participate in team-building activities and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required
0 years of experience in food service or related field ((training provided)
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, as well as stand and walk for extended periods
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
