Direct Hire - Field Service Technician- Industrial Batteries 
Wilson, NC
Direct Hire 
Pay: $20/hr - $25/hr

Position Summary
The Field Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial forklift batteries, battery chargers, and related equipment at customer locations. This position requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair industrial forklift batteries, chargers and battery handling equipment. 
  • Install new batteries, chargers, and battery handling equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using appropriate testing equipment.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance at customer facilities.
  • Safely replace battery components, cables, connectors, and watering systems.
  • Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Educate customers on proper battery maintenance and operating procedures.
  • Maintain company service vehicle, tools, and inventory.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications
  • Technical, mechanical, automotive, diesel, electrical, or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with DC electrical systems is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and outdoor environments.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing daily service schedules.
