Cottonwood Golf Club - Outside Services/Golf Department


Summary

Creates an exceptional experience for golfers by providing prompt and courteous service, manages the starting times of players from the first tee, monitors the pace of play and behavior of players on the course, and keeps all areas around the golf course in a neat and clean condition.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet Players at the first tee and on the course
  • Stage golf carts for the guests use as needed
  • Maintain a clean and well organized first tee, and golf course
  • Constant communication with the Golf Shop Attendant and the Guest Service Staff
  • Make sure all golf carts going onto the golf course appear to be clean and in good working order (brakes, tires, etc.)
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Operations Manager and/or the Manager on Duty.

Requirements

  • One year prior work experience, golf course experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience
  • Polite, Professional, Punctual and Reliable
  • Exceptional grooming habits
  • Wear a clean and complete uniform as designated by Management
  • Required to be available for work on all major holidays.
  • Must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds
  • Physical, Environmental, Cognitive and Social Requirements:
  • Sitting, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, grasping: stand for long periods of time, outside weather conditions (hot and cold) and moderate to loud noise level.
  • Frequently required to stoop, bend, crouch, and squat climb, kneel, in and out of golf carts, and to twist at the neck and waist, reach above and below shoulder level, push and pull when retrieving, storing and moving golf bags; use dominate hand and fingers to feel and grasp, push and pull and for find manipulation to document start times and pace of play notes, clean clubs and use two-way radios.
