Tasting Room Associate - Endless Orchard Hard Pressed Cider
Endless Orchard Hard Pressed Cider is seeking an enthusiastic, guest-focused Tasting Room Associate to join our hospitality team. This role plays a key part in creating warm, memorable, and educational experiences for every visitor. The ideal candidate has a positive, sales-driven attitude, enjoys engaging with guests, and thrives in a fast-paced tasting room environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome all visitors to the tasting room and provide cider tastings with a focus on education and guest enjoyment.
  • Deliver a warm, professional, and memorable guest experience that fosters brand loyalty.
  • Obtain a MAST certificate and Food Handler's Permit to serve cider and prepare food items as part of daily service.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the Toast POS system and reconcile daily sales.
  • Educate guests on cider club offerings, bottle purchases, and membership benefits.
  • Represent the brand at off-site events as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of cider, cider production, and the Endless Orchard and Arctic Apples brands.
  • Assist with hospitality-driven events and special functions.
  • Support the upkeep, cleanliness, and overall presentation of the tasting room and surrounding facilities.
  • Restock and merchandise retail items and cider inventory.
  • Provide general tourist information to enhance the visitor experience.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Confident, friendly, and excited to engage with guests; strong customer service mindset required.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Availability to work weeknights and weekends.
  • Previous tasting room or beverage-industry experience is helpful; familiarity with cider and cider production is a plus.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Adaptability and willingness to work within shifting priorities.
  • Ability to bend, squat, climb, push, stoop, and crouch repeatedly as required.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to ask for assistance when needed.
  • Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
