As a Channel Account Manager at PolyAI, you will play a critical role in building and nurturing our partner ecosystem to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Reporting directly to the VP of Channels, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key channel partners, distributors, and resellers. Your primary focus will be on driving successful partnerships, increasing market penetration, and delivering exceptional value to our customers.

Your responsibility will involve:

  1. Channel Partner Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, including Technology Solution Distributors (TSDs), Alliances, VARs, and other relevant entities in the CX space.
  2. Sales and Partner Recruitment: Identify and recruit new partners into PolyAI's channel program, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and target markets.
  3. Technical Acumen: Possess a deep understanding of PolyAI's technology solutions, enabling you to effectively present and demonstrate our products to partners and their customers.
  4. Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of channel pipeline and revenue forecasts on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments within PolyAI, including marketing, operations, legal, and HR, to ensure seamless execution of channel strategies.
  6. Negotiation and Relationship Building: Comfortably engage with partners and customers at all levels, including C-Suite executives, to negotiate and secure successful partnerships.
  7. Market Insights: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and partner needs to provide valuable insights and input into PolyAI's channel strategy.
  8. Idea-Driven Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and open-minded culture within the channel team, welcoming diverse perspectives and contributing your own experience and knowledge.

What you'll come with:

  • Must have channel account management experience preferably in UCaaS, CCaaS or AI
  • Knowledge of various routes to market, including Technology Solution Distributors (TSDs), Alliances, VARs, etc.
  • Exceptional relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to engage and educate large groups on technology.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the region on a regular basis.
  • Familiarity with partners in the region and the ability to identify and cultivate those capable of selling CX solutions.
  • Proven experience in recruiting partners into a channel program.
  • Demonstrated accuracy in forecasting channel pipeline and revenue.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Comfortable negotiating with partners and customers at the C-Suite level.

We provide a competitive salary range for this role - which is $220,000 – $260,000 OTE (60/40 split) - depending on level and experience. Please note this range is intended as a guide, not a guarantee. Final compensation will be based on individual qualifications, relevant experience, and the scope of the role.

In addition to salary, this position includes equity in the business, giving you the opportunity to share in the company's long-term success.
