What is a Channel executive?

A Channel Executive is a professional responsible for managing and developing relationships with a company's channel partners, such as distributors, resellers, or agents. Their main goal is to drive sales and revenue growth through these indirect sales channels by implementing strategies, providing support, and ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships. Channel Executives often coordinate training, marketing campaigns, and performance analysis to maximize the effectiveness of channel partners. They play a key role in expanding a company's reach and market presence by leveraging third-party collaborations.

  • Serve as a trusted executive representative for Proofpoint with partner CEOs, executive leadership teams, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Assess organizational capabilities and build a long-term talent strategy that balances experienced leadership with emerging high-potential talent.
  • Establish clear performance metrics, operational rigor, and accountability across the channel organization.
