Role: Organizational Change Management Lead

 Location: Baltimore , MD (Onsite with Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months Contract


Job Summary:

The Organizational Change Manager will be an integral member of our OCM team within the Office of Enterprise Technology. Together, we support the implementation of critical enterprise systems. The Organizational Change Manager will focus on establishing the readiness of our internal and external stakeholders within a structured process framework, including, but limited to, changes to business processes, systems, and technologies. Create and deliver strategies and plans to help employees maximize the adoption of new programs by honing methods of effective and sustainable behavior change. Determine and evaluate the change impacts and organizational readiness to limit potential risk. Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the decisions and performance related to the change request. The Organizational Change Manager maintains a broad understanding of project activities assigned to them and processes to apply a structured organizational change management (OCM) approach and methodology for the impact to personnel.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • A proven Change Leader that has results-driven experience in leading large, complex change initiatives.
  • Deliver recommended actions to improve and optimize adoption using Data Analytics and Best Practices.
  • Credible expertise in applying and implementing OCM disciplines (e.g., change strategy, sponsor and change advocate development, strategic communications, learning and development, resistance management, change sustainability) within a regulatory environment.
  • Conduct survey assessment to identify potential risk.
  • Develop a tailored strategy, training, communication plan.
  • Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans – including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, stake holder analysis and resistance management plan.
  • Facilitate focus groups to discuss bottlenecks hindering adoption and establish a mitigation plan.
    Provide transitional support by focusing on change stabilization and optimizing results to ensure long-term success.
  • Utilize interactive dashboards and reports to visualize and trend adoption metrics.
  • Measure the success of change and provide lessons learned.
  • Identify potential personnel risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.
  • Understand client's organization and change management issues, explain the factors involved and shape organizational solutions to deliver value to the client.
  • Conduct organizational change readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Be an active and visible coach to executive leaders who are change sponsors.
  • Create and manage measurement systems to track and report on adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes.
  • Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions.
  • Help re-align the organization, its people, and their actions with critical businesses.
  • Develop surveys, newsletters, and other communication materials as needed.
  • Facilitate project meetings, assign and manage tasks for change activities

Education:

  • College Degree in Business Administration, Communication, Organizational or Cultural Change Management or equivalent business experience. Need certificate

General Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience related to the successful delivery of change management work in the disciplines of change management methodology, job/role design, stakeholder engagement, sponsorship alignment, communication planning, training/performance support and organizational readiness.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, able to synthesize information and tailor communication style and content for a variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting meetings and making presentations.
  • Proactive self-starter; effective in both team settings and as an individual contributor.
  • Previous experience with large-scale, technology-related change.
  • Must be a team player and a consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible "can- do" attitude, and a results-driven commitment to success.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage work to a defined schedule.
  • Comfortable and confident presenting to front line and executives.
  • Organizational Change Management Certification is required

Specialized Experience:

  • Large scale system deployment experience within a healthcare organization.
  • Prosci or other Change Management certification a plus
