IT Adoption and Change Management SME
The Opportunity:
Work as a subject matter expert, applying expertise in and technical knowledge of research, process definition, interfacing, and training with the client and contractor teams supporting DoW customer with tailored digital solutions. Incorporate program information, maintenance, and technical data into the solution. Work directly with the organization and integrated product teams, establish contacts at each location, and provide oversight for those locations. Maintain responsibility for creating and managing user accounts and permissions, including providing program training to users, as necessary, ensuring configuration data within the solution, and making experience-based recommendations for improvement to project leadership. Share expertise with other SMEs through leadership and mentoring. Apply expertise while expanding project management skillsets.
What You'll Do:
  • Training Delivery: Prepares and delivers user training through classroom, over-the-shoulder, or virtual sessions for both existing and newly released modules.
  • Change Management and Onboarding: Leads change management and onboarding processes to ensure successful adoption across the customer base.
  • System Testing and Verification: Conducts testing, validation, and verification of system capabilities both pre- and post-user acceptance.
  • Requirements Gathering: Leads comprehensive requirements gathering through customer engagements, translating business objectives into actionable features and functionalities.
  • Refinement of Development Requirements: Drives iterative refinement and finalization of development requirements, ensuring they align with customer needs.
  • Development Road Map Management: Maintains a prioritized development roadmap that reflects evolving customer expectations and strategic goals.
  • Data Management Support: Supports system population, data management, and data integrity activities.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience with providing dedicated support to the Senior DOD
  • 2+ years of delivering and facilitating training, including virtual and in-person
  • Experience in working with software development teams, software applications, or data management systems
  • Ability to use software products, including Microsoft Office and Outlook and information systems
  • Ability to develop a long-term strategic communication plans
  • Ability to work with external stakeholder groups and present to senior ranking officials confidently
  • Ability to support V&V efforts for software development teams
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
