While Change Management focuses on guiding organizations through change initiatives, Business Analysts analyze business processes and requirements to support project solutions. Both roles often collaborate but serve distinct functions within projects and organizational transformation.
Change management jobs are consulting or in-house positions that deal with helping an organization or company implement changes in systems engineering or business practices, such as changes in organizational structure and information technology use. Some change management specialists analyze a company’s current practices, advise the company on ways to improve, conduct assessments on how to implement the changes, and help workers deal with the transition. Others, such as change managers, provide support during the changes and oversee the implementation of the changes.
