Senior Design Engineer - CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE
Location: Springfield, Missouri, USA
Experience: 6 to 8 Years

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE Design Engineer to support new product development programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in complex surfacing, solid modeling, assembly integration, engineering change implementation, and production drawing development within a PLM-controlled product development environment. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality design solutions from concept through production release.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and modify 3D CAD models for new component and product development using CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE.
  • Create and manage complex surface geometry using Generative Shape Design (GSD) techniques.
  • Perform solid model creation, optimization, and design modifications based on engineering requirements.
  • Integrate components into assemblies and validate fit, function, and manufacturability.
  • Implement engineering changes (ECR/ECO/ECN) and maintain design data integrity.
  • Generate detailed production drawings, GD&T annotations, and engineering documentation.
  • Support product development activities throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Participate in design reviews and cross-functional engineering discussions.
  • Ensure compliance with customer standards, design guidelines, and PLM processes.
  • Provide general CAD support for ongoing design and development programs.
