What we need:

The Director Manufacturing is a high-level leader that will be responsible for the leadership and management of manufacturing operations. This role involves driving operational efficiency, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. 

What you'll do: 

  • Implement the strategic vision for manufacturing operations aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability.  
  • Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. 
  • Optimize resource allocation, including human capital, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure the efficient use of resources to meet production targets.  
  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality products.
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality processes.  
  • Implement safety programs and training initiatives.  
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Participate in the development of new products and processes.  
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze data to drive informed decision-making.  
  • Perform other duties as needed.

What you have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 
  • 10+ years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 5+ years of management experience.

  • This employee is responsible for direct reports.  
  • Occasional exposure to hazardous conditions caused by noise, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and other conditions associated with a high-traffic production floor. 
  • Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time. 
  • Bending, crouching, and stooping may be required.  
  • Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled facilities.  
  • The work environment may be a noisy, high traffic manufacturing production floor.  
  • May be required to work a flexible schedule to include evening and night shifts, weekends, and holidays. 
  • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day. 
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
