Your one-hour newscast will be filled with breaking news, enterprise stories, and a team full of journalists who want to win the day. Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce and stack the 6PM newscast with a strong editorial voice and visual storytelling.
  • Collaborate with anchors, reporters, photographers, and assignment editors to develop engaging content.
  • Write and edit scripts with clarity, accuracy, and urgency.
  • Respond to breaking news and adjust rundown as needed.
  • Participate in editorial meetings and contribute story ideas.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of producing experience in a television newsroom.
  • Strong news judgment and understanding of local, national, and international current events.
