This position is at the Corpus Christi Army Deport (CCAD), TX.

LESCO is seeking candidates for an electrical/mechanical/aerospace engineer to provide aviation-engineering support to the Army Futures Command (AFC), Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED), Maintenance Engineering Division (FCDD AMR-AM), co-located at the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD), TX. This support includes providing on-site engineering capability necessary for depot-level maintenance production support of requirements for aircraft components, power plants, aircraft systems and mission systems to include the UH-60 Blackhawk, CH-47 Chinook, AH-64 Apache, and RQ-7/MQ-1C Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). Job duties will include but are not limited to: supporting government engineers with expert advice, analysis, research, and technical guidance for Army rotary aircraft and associated subsystems (i.e., hydraulics, electrical, power plant, drivetrain and airframe). Evaluating work for adherence to government policies, plans, procedures, and management requirements. Providing analytical skills to support and evaluate engineering dispositions. Working independently and able to understand, anticipate, and act on the requirements of senior leaders. Writing detailed technical substantiation analysis, reports, and briefings. Support and coordination as necessary with other organizations in the development and/or substantiation of depot and field level maintenance policies and procedures, modifications, upgrades, repairs, technical data revision/improvement, field inspection, and new depot and field maintenance concepts.

Must be a US citizen

Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited university

Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Knowledgeable in Army aviation technical manuals

Knowledgeable in rotary aircraft electrical and structural depot level engineering repairs

Must have excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and able to work independently

Army aviation experience

Previous military experience
