Job description

Job Description Overview Working across the globe, V2X builds smart solutions designed to integrate physical and digital infrastructure from base to battlefield. This program provides comprehensive, performance based, Base Operations Services (BOS) for the headquarters of a major customer in the intelligence community, located in the National Capital Region (NCR). Support includes program management, workforce and security support services, logistics, environmental and occupational health, project management, operations, maintenance, repair, grounds maintenance and custodial services for the 2.5 million square foot state-of-the-art headquarters building, limited support to adjacent customer buildings, and over 100 small satellite locations. The program requires a highly capable team to ensure mission-critical systems and environments operate efficiently and securely, supporting thousands of personnel in a dynamic and evolving environment. This position is contingent based on contract award. #clearance Responsibilities The Chief Facility Engineer (CFE) is responsible for the overall management and operation of the mechanical, life safety, electrical, plumbing, Computer Aided Design (CAD), drawing development and review, and operations of the Customer's headquarters building, associated facilities, and grounds. Additionally, the CFE should possess experience with: * Building management systems, including CMMS, Building Automation System (BAS), and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS)
* Application of Government and local regulations, codes, standards, etc. * Providing clear and concise communications as well as briefings and presentations. Qualifications Required Qualifications: * The CFE shall be currently licensed as a Professional Engineer in one of the 50 U.S. States, U.S. Territories, or Possessions. * Possess a minimum of seven (7) years' experience in managing and operating facilities of similar size, scope, and complexity. Security Clearance Requirement: This position requires a current Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearance.
