Job Summary:
CFD Research Corporation is a leader in innovative technology solutions within various industries including Aerospace & Defense. They are seeking a talented Software Engineer to support the development and sustainment of a simulation framework software, focusing on software development efforts for missile defense systems.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Support the lifecycle of software development efforts, which include development, integration, and deployment for test and analysis efforts with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems and all-digital representations of complex missile defense elements.
โ€ข Enhance understanding of the missile defense system and how each element is integrated into framework for test campaigns.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, or Math from an accredited institution
โ€ข Mid and senior level experience candidates (5-15 years) will be considered
โ€ข Strong containerization skills and experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
โ€ข Strong programming skills in C/C++, Java, and Python, including object oriented.
โ€ข Experience with scrum/agile software development
โ€ข Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an Active Secret security clearance.
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience with MDA HWIL test and analysis and simulation frameworks
โ€ข Experience and working knowledge of missile defense architecture, including radars, fire control systems, launchers, and messaging protocols.
