Job Summary:
CFD Research Corporation is an innovative technology solutions provider in the Aerospace & Defense sector, and they are seeking a Containerization & Platform Engineer. This role focuses on the provisioning and security of enterprise container environments, ensuring the deployment architecture and cluster security for critical defense applications.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provisioning, securing, and maintaining modern enterprise container environments that host critical defense software applications.
โ€ข Responsible for deployment architecture, cluster security hardening, and secure container management.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Department of Defense Secret clearance (must maintain throughout contract performance)
โ€ข 3+ years of hands-on experience working within cloud, hybrid, or bare-metal platform architectures
โ€ข Direct expertise deploying and managing Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat/OpenShift, and architecting secure container environments
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, IT, or related STEM field
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience applying DoD container hardening guides (such as Defense Information Systems Agency - DISA STIGs)
โ€ข Strong background in Linux systems administration
