Job description

Job Overview:
The Armis Centrix vulnerability management security engineer will be the coordination point across all of technology to coordinate Vulnerability Management (VM) efforts with internal customers and service providers. This person will  provide Sr. Vulnerability Management continuous Monitoring experience to track vulnerabilities and work with system owners on remediation. (Tracking and reporting.)
 
Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiables):
 
  1. Armis Centrix experience (3-5 years minimum).
  2. Vulnerability tracking, remediation coordination, and reporting.
  3. Networking and security technical proficiency.
  4. Strong documentation and communication abilities.
  5. Enterprise-level vulnerability management experience.
 
Desired Skills and Experience:
 
  • Must have 3-5 yrs experience providing situation-based support using Armis Centrix , using information security policies and compliance standards, to ensure identified vulnerabilities are remediated and updates are installed in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Should have Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of networking & security principles, deploying & troubleshooting deployments Armis products and solutions.  
  • Must have prior experience monitoring / investigating vulnerability findings present within the enterprise, and coordinates remediation efforts in collaboration with server owners and other subject matter experts.  
  • Should have prior experience with validating VM Change requests for accuracy and completeness and drive timely Critical Vulnerability remediation efforts.  
  • Should have prior Reporting exp – pull data and build reports for Vulnerability Response and Configuration Compliance.  
  • Should have prior providing status reports to leadership related to VM metrics, key risk indicators, trending risks, and compliance
  • Should have prior experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with clients.
