Job description

Overview
Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. The Centralized Scheduler will work on a Full-Time basis out of Helio Health's Outpatient Program.
In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time hires for this position are eligible for a Sign-On Incentive up to $1,500.00!
Pay: $18.67 - $20.76 per hour.
Responsibilities
  • The Centralized Scheduler position will greet each patient cordially and professionally in person and on phone.
  • Responsible for scheduling patient individual and medical sessions.
  • Maintain clinical and medical staff "will call" and "back-fill" lists and schedules accordingly.
  • Confirm status updates of patient appointments.
  • Performs Quality Assurance activities.
  • Participates in program administrative and clinical committees as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma required/Associates degree preferred.
  • One year employment experience in the Medical Records or Human Services field
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the educational requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of the federal confidentiality laws relating to populations served
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Sound judgment and cultural competency
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications
  • Ability to perform duties independently
