Position Summary
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Orange Coast Medical Center. The Central Processing Technician II is primarily responsible for providing support to the Operating Room through knowledge of surgical supplies and materials. The Central Processing Technician is responsible for the daily case supply picking. This position is accountable for the support of the effective PAR level maintenance.

5. Assists with keeping a clean work environment in order to promote optimal functioning in the department.
6. Practices within the perioperative code of conduct.
7. Participates and supports in the perioperative lean philosophy and projects.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications/Work Experience:
• Two (2) years of experience as a Central Processing Technician in Surgical Services required.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and OR/SPD supplies.
Education/Licensure/Certification:
• High School Diploma or equivalency preferred
• CRCST or CBSPD Certification required
