This position is currently filled, however we are accepting applications for Ready Replacement Pool consideration.  


Prevailance is seeking an experienced, mission-focused professional to support Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR) as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B). The full time EMT-B contractor will be part of all underway training and is considered the Administrative assistant to the Contract Site Lead. The EMT will provide emergency medical support during all high-risk training evolutions. They will also keep all contractors current with CPR/AED qualifications when not being used for training evolutions. Travel may be required.

Requirements

The Emergency Medical Technician must have the following qualifications:

  • NREMT or State of California Certified as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic, or higher
  • Certified to instruct CPR/AED
  • Second-Class Swimmer qualified per NETC P1552/16 standards (must demonstrate water survival proficiency through a deep-water jump, a 100-yard swim, a 5-minute prone float, and shirt/trouser inflation for buoyancy)

Desired:

ARC certified Lifeguard

Military Rescue Swimmer


Clearance:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
