About the Role

Under general supervision, the Senior Accountant (Financials) oversees general accounting operations by ย controlling and verifying financial transactions. ย This position is also responsible for maintaining the ERP financial ย systems, general ledger, and month end close process. The Senior Accountant produces data analysis, financial ย reporting, and audit schedules. This individual will work with leadership, department heads, and our clinics to ย assure all necessary resources are available to provide the highest level accurate financial data across multiple ย entities. In addition, the Senior Accountant will work with the Controller to ensure efficient processes, that reduce ย risk and promote meaningful, insightful data for the organization. ย ย ย 



What You Will Do

Support all activities across accounting and finance operations:

  • Produces the financial statements each month
  • Reconciles certain balance sheet accountsย 
  • Produces entries for closing of the month
  • Performs miscellaneous assessments and provides improvement ย recommendationsย 
  • Assists with tax auditsย 
  • Supports month-end and year-end close process ย 
  • Finalizes COGS and Inventory reports ย 
  • Reviews SG&A and makes appropriate reclass entriesย 
  • Ad hoc research and reporting as requested by management
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and ย new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to ย requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed ย actions
  • International (CERF/Global Health) transactionsย 


Requirements

What you bring to the tableย 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or other related field ย 
  • A minimum of 3 years accounting experienceย 
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures and solid knowledge of Cost of Goods Sold, ย inventory practices and Operating Expense cost containmentย 
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and advanced formulas ย 
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive financial and proprietary informationย 
  • Ability to work independently while building effective work relationships, working towards meeting ย established targets/goals ย 
  • Tech-savvy, results-driven and highly analytical, individual is a relationship builder with high EQ and ย communication skills that allow for effectively at influencing a variety of stakeholders ย 
  • Sound judgment, strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity ย 
  • Relevant certifications in field (if any), in good standing ย 
  • The ability to roll-up your sleeves to tackle operational work ย 
  • Must be detail oriented and able to handle complex instructions with care and follow-throughย 
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in execution of assigned tasks ย 
  • Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast paced, demanding environment ย 
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare best practices (nice to have) ย 
  • Passionate about longevity, healthy aging, healthcare and committed to personal self-care, healthy lifestyle, ย and personal growth
  • Experience with ERP systems (Salesforce) and Great Plains strongly preferredย
