Job description

The Sales Incentives Specialist fosters relationships with internal stakeholders and partners to develop, deliver and manage incentive investment programs to drive mutual business objectives and desired outcomes. The role is responsible for articulating the unique value proposition of CDW's Sales Incentives program to align with partner and CDW sales segment strategies. The Sales Incentives Specialist is also responsible for coordinating program effectiveness reporting and making strategic recommendations. This role works directly with CDW's PPM, Sales, and Finance organizations as well as with partners.

What you'll do

  • Meet or exceed financial results specific to the role's function and area of responsibility.

  • Be the subject matter expert relative to sales incentive strategy to maximize Partner sales incentives investment.

  • Be the subject matter expert on CDW's Achieve More Portal (AMP) incentive platform for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Engage regularly with assigned partners to ensure CDW and partner stakeholders are up to date on all issues and initiatives related to a partner's incentive investment at CDW.

  • Proficiently position CDW investment opportunities to both internal and external customers.

  • Uncover, qualify, position, negotiate, and close investment opportunities to achieve CDW's financial goals.

  • Communicate program results tied to CDW's incentive performance to both internal and external customers.

  • Deliver a bi-quarterly forecast of gross spiff investment for assigned book of business.

  • Track, analyze, and provide regular updates on assigned book of business to leadership.

  • Deliver excellent experiences for both internal and external incentive program stakeholders.

  • Develop a knowledge of CDW's category and partner go to market strategies and funding sources.

  • Conduct trainings on Sales Incentive program guidelines, processes, and tools to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Analyze data to make business decisions.

  • Identify challenges or risk in the business and escalate to leadership for review.

What we expect of you

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years sales/marketing experience OR 6 years' experience in sales, marketing

  • Proficient communication, project management, and organizational skills.
