Job description

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Crew Operator – Drilled Shaft Operations

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Equipment Crew Operator to support our Drilled Shaft Operations team. This is a union position offering competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment including:
  • Skid steer
  • Backhoe
  • Water truck
  • Mini excavator
  • Assist with drilled shaft installation and related site preparation
  • Follow direction from site supervision and work collaboratively with crew members
  • Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with company and OSHA regulations
  • Perform duties in various weather conditions and during night shifts as needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Demonstrated proficiency operating the listed equipment
  • License: Valid CDL Class “A” with tanker endorsement (required)
  • Certifications: OSHA/NCCO equivalent crane certification (preferred; earns additional hourly pay)
  • Travel: Willingness to travel regularly for out-of-town assignments
  • Work Conditions: Comfortable working outdoors year-round and during night shifts
  • Teamwork: Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
