INTRODUCTION:
A&A Insurance Services is expanding and we are seeking an experienced, highly motivated 2-20 General Lines Agent to help build and lead our growing insurance division in Tampa.
We are not a traditional agency. As part of A & Associates, one of the largest staffing firms in the region, we have a powerful community footprint, thousands of touchpoints with local businesses and families, and a built-in pipeline ready to be developed. We need a strategic, entrepreneurial agent who can leverage these resources and help shape our insurance division from the ground up.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Agency Growth & Leadership

  • Help build and scale the insurance division with support from executive leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and assist in managing a small team as the division grows
  • Partner with carriers; obtain new appointments and maintain underwriting relationships
  • Develop internal processes, sales workflows, and service standards
Production & Client Management
  • Grow and manage a personal and team-generated book of business
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities from our staffing and community relationships
  • Deliver exceptional service, advice, and customer experience
  • Participate in community outreach, networking events, and partner meetings
Operational & Strategic Support
  • Assist in establishing agency KPIs, performance tracking, and reporting
  • Improve and maintain systems related to quoting, submissions, renewals, and compliance
  • Provide leadership in both personal and commercial lines

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Active 2-20 Florida General Lines License (required)
  • 3+ years of P&C experience, ideally with leadership or office management responsibilities
  • Proven experience securing carrier appointments or maintaining underwriting relationships
  • Strong understanding of insurance operations and client lifecycle management
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable operating with autonomy
  • A relationship-builder who excels in community settings
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to help build a division

COMPENSATION:
Base salary (Based on experience) + commission with uncapped earning potential
