Drivers in high-paying CDL roles, such as long-haul or specialized freight positions, often encounter challenges like extended time away from home, strict delivery schedules, and managing irregular hours. Adapting to these demands requires strong time-management skills, effective communication with dispatchers, and a commitment to safety compliance. To prepare, job seekers should focus on building a solid driving record, maintaining up-to-date certifications, and developing resilience to handle varying work conditions and schedules.
