Part-time and Full-time Servers needed

University Place, a part of Franciscan Ministries, is a vibrant senior living community in West Lafayette, Indiana looking for Servers  to add to our team!

 University Place is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), offering a variety of senior lifestyle options including independent living, assisted living, memory support assisted living and skilled nursing/long-term care.

Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community.

Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for providing assistance in all dietary functions as directed and instructed by the Dining Services management team.

Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities

  • Serve meals to the residents and set the table in the dining rooms.
  • Maintain cleanliness of production areas including but not limited to vents, fryers, flattop, range, steamers, ovens, refrigerators, coolers, and storage areas.
  • Bus dining room as needed and send dishes through the dishwashing machine.
  • Wash pots and pans as needed.
  • Put clean dishes away in appropriate places.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
  • Dispose of garbage appropriately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates.

Position Requirements

Education: High School Diploma/GED

Licenses/Certifications: ServSafe certification if required

Experience: None required; 1+ years of dining services experience preferred
