Summary
You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYSIS OFFICER (SENIOR ADVISOR) in the Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) of SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD AEGIS TRAREDCEN.

  • You will plan. design, and develop critical content, scenarios, analysis, briefings, and studies related to IAMD tactical training,
  • You will provide and oversee senior operational , conceptual, technical, and analysis of conducted training events.
  • You will direct, execute and evaluate Commander, Naval Surface Forces-established training requirements executed by SCSTC in short and long range planning for implementation/integration of tactical IAMD training.
  • You will develop goals, benchmarks, strategies, and a framework for individual/team IAMD training programs.
  • You will manage day-to-day planning and execution of all IAMD tactical training; teaching staff members, scenario-tailoring, in-depth written and oral feedback, and assessment reporting.
  • You will develop curriculum and function as the curriculum Control Authority (CCA) for prospective Commanding Officer/Prospective Executive Officer Course.
  • You will analyze, design, and interpret broad directives by higher authority for currency of the command crew-training programs, and collaborate with senior tactical trainers at other Sites to improve IAMD training.
  • You will serve as the Senior IAMD Tactical Advisor to the SCSTC Commodore and SCSTC learning site Commanding Officers on training challenges and solutions and codify semi-annually in briefings to SCSTC Headquarters staff.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrate knowledge of surface ship IAMD tactical weapons, sensors, and combat systems at both command and advanced watch-officer levels; 2) Utilize expertise in the tactical employment of deployed IAMD ships and coordinated operations with airborne assets; 3) Knowledge of a wide range of training methods, techniques, and tools, to include knowledge of educational developments in the field used to design and develop training courses and materials, evaluate training programs, and/or complete various special projects; 4) Knowledge of surface ship and aircraft coordinated operations conducted to support Strike Group and theater warfare commanders; 5) Utilize operational planning and decision-making, including development and execution of both standing and stand-up plans, integration of planning process with normal shipboard routines, post-event critiques and application of resulting lessons learned, and a keen understanding of risk and methods available to mitigate it; 6) Demonstrate knowledge of conventional and established training methods, techniques, and tools to design and develop training courses and materials, evaluate training programs, and/or complete special projects.
