Job description

Warehouse Associate
About the Role:
As a CBRE Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for daily shipping and receiving related duties in addition to executing material movements and managing inventory control measures within our warehouse where industrial control panels are produced.
What You'll Do:
• Receive and inspect deliveries and put away materials.
• Package small parcel / palletize freight shipments and schedule shipments with freight vendors.
• Package, palletize, and schedule small parcel and freight shipments with vendors.
• Use material handling equipment to pull, move, and organize project materials to support panel production.
• Assist with managing inventory by storing, organizing, and tracking materials and conducting cycle counts.
• Use various software programs to track project information and maintain shipping and inventory databases.
• Assist with purchasing warehouse and project related materials.
• Assemble small kits as needed.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor and other team members.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that car consistent with CBRE's RISE values.
What You'll Need:
• High school diploma
• Associate degree or equivalent experience specific to role preferred.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as fork truck, pallet jack, etc.
• Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Google drive, UPS Worldship, and inventory management systems preferred.
• Knowledge of international shipping terms and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of arithmetic and algebra.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and understand related terminology preferred but not necessary.
Physical Requirement:
• Must be able to stand and walk for majority of the day.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. periodically throughout the day.
• Must be able to bend, reach, and grasp using torso, arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Must have good visual perception and be able to hear and respond quickly to verbal instructions.
• Must be able to wear safety glasses and steel toe safety boots all day along with other PPE as needed.
• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment, which may be subject to occasional loud noises, bright lights, and warm and humid conditions.
