Job description

The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in managing the logistics and execution of import and export processes for third-party semen and embryos. This position is responsible for ensuring seamless order fulfillment from order receipt through invoicing. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate with domestic clients, as well as Production Centers, to manage the shipment of semen and embryos through Alta to international destinations. 
  • Oversee inbound product receipt, verifying product integrity, documentation accuracy, and compliance with CFIA. 
  • Monitor and optimize supply chain performance metrics, maintaining detailed customer service logs to track order status and resolution.
  • Execute full-cycle order processing, including order receipt, processing, inventory management, export documentation preparation, logistics coordination, and invoicing. 
  • Address and resolve transportation, import/export, and customer-related issues efficiently, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques
