Cath Lab Technologist / Cardiovascular Technologist (Contract) โ€“ New York (14642)
  • Location: New York, 14642

  • Pay Rate: $2,594 โ€“ $2,905 (weekly)

  • Schedule: 4x10s

    • Shift: Primarily day shifts with some late evenings

    • Includes on-call and callback per unit needs

Position Overview:
  • Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) supporting Cardiac Cath and EP Lab procedures

  • Functions in multiple roles: scrub, circulator, and monitor/documenter

Position Requirements:
  • Active NYS licensure or eligibility under Public Health Law 2824 (grandfathered if applicable)

  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) required

  • BLS (AHA) required

  • ACLS required

  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience required

  • COVID-19 vaccination required

Experience Requirements:
  • Strong background in critical care or cardiac procedures

  • Experience with:

    • Hemodynamics (right and left heart)

    • Cardiac interventions (PCI, CTO, etc.)

    • Structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, etc.)

    • Mechanical circulatory support (ECMO, Impella, IABP, etc.)

    • Vascular interventions and advanced devices (e.g., LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever)

  • Prepare procedure room, sterile field, and surgical instruments
