Job description

Overview
Cardiovascular Technologist (Cath Lab Technologist) โ€“ Olathe, Kansas, United States. This travel assignment starts on 08/02/2026 for 13 weeks in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,985 to $3,056 per week. Shift is 4x10-hour days. This is a Travel - Temporary Assignment under Healthforce Healthcare LLC with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Scrub, circulate, and assist in interventional cardiology procedures and select electrophysiology cases under supervision; maintain sterile technique and assist the physician during interventions.
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed; ensure proper protocol and radiation safety practices are followed.
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; respond to intra-procedure changes and provide timely documentation.
- Assist with pacemaker/implantable device cases; support telemetry monitoring and post-procedure care.
- Prepare procedural rooms, manage equipment and inventory, and coordinate with the cath lab team; be prepared to float to the EP lab when required.
- Document case details accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC); adhere to all unit policies and safety standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations (primary: 1โ€“2 shifts during the week 5:30 pmโ€“7:00 am) and weekend on-call (every 3rd or 4th weekend) as assigned.
- Adhere to unit-specific policies, including nicotine-free facility requirements, and uphold patient confidentiality and quality standards.
Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: ARRT or RCIS required; current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab and interventional radiology (IR) experience; ability to float to EP lab; experience with pacemakers.
- Credentials: Ability to complete CBC, DS, and relevant lab work within 72 hours of offer acceptance.
- Skills: Proficient in sterile technique, patient monitoring, and collaboration with physicians and nursing staff; capable of maintaining focus in a fast-paced cath lab environment.
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States; able to meet credentialing requirements and pass any facility-specific checks.
