Lab Technician

Location: Dodge City, Kansas

Job Description:

As a QC Lab and Sanitation Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting quality control efforts and maintaining sanitation standards in accordance with approved procedures. Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, your responsibilities will include inspecting and testing raw materials, ensuring cleanliness of processing equipment, and adhering to sanitation schedules.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; post high school education in chemistry, food sciences, or related field preferred.

  • Experience in food/feed manufacturing sanitation and/or chemistry/microbiology lab preferred.

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug testing.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Word and Excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.

  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of processing areas.
