Cath Lab Technologist – Olathe, KS | Cardiology & Interventional Radiology

Start Date: 04/19/2026

Shift: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM (10-hour shift)

Hours/Week: 40 hours/week

Employment Type: Contract/Per diem

Experience: Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology experience; ability to float to EP Lab; experience with pacemakers

What You'll Do

  • Perform and support cardiac and interventional radiology procedures in the cath lab.
  • Assist with pacemaker and device placements, and other complex interventions.
  • Float to electrophysiology (EP) lab as needed for designated procedures.
  • Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and safety protocols.
  • Support patient care and procedure prep, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

What You Need

  • Required:
    • ARRT or RCIS certification
    • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
    • Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or IR experience
    • Ability to float to EP Lab and perform related procedures
  • Preferred:
    • 2+ years of Cath/IR and EP experience
    • Willingness to work in a NICOTINE-FREE facility
    • Experience with pacemakers and device management

About the Assignment This role is at a state-of-the-art facility in Olathe where you will be instrumental in supporting cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures. The facility operates on a bi-weekly pay schedule and provides thorough orientation, including 8 hours of non-billable training. The hospital allows employees to cancel one shift per two-week pay period with prior notice at no cost or pay deduction. Credential deadlines are one week prior to the start date, and orientation begins with a two-day training at TUKHS followed by on-site onboarding.
