Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while experiencing work in Des Moines, IA. Assist physicians and cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic tests and procedures, and operate advanced equipment to capture images and data of the heart and blood vessels.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Current RCIS or RCES certification required. Documentation must be provided.
  • Electrophysiology (EP) experience required.
  • Minimum 24 months of combined Electrophysiology/EP and Cardiac Cath/CCL experience in a hospital setting required. Work history/resume must reflect this experience.
  • Skills checklist specific to Electrophysiology/EP and Cardiac Cath/CCL required.
  • Driver's license required. Documentation must be provided.
  • Professional reference or performance evaluation from a charge, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred.
  • Travel experience preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • CCI - RCIS certification preferred when not already listed as required.
  • Cardiac Cath lab experience preferred.


Assignment Details

  • 4 x 10 hour shifts per week, 0700 start time, 40 hours per week.
  • Float required across Des Moines-area campuses to like units.
  • No scheduled call responsibilities.
  • Contractor may be required to work 1–2 of 3 major summer holidays when unit is not closed (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).
