Job Title: Traveler Echo Technician
Department: Ultrasound
Location: Athena Medtech
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (40 hours per week)
Athena Medtech is seeking a skilled and experienced Traveler Echo Technician to join our Ultrasound Department. This role involves performing high-quality echocardiographic procedures and collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct diagnostic echocardiographic procedures to evaluate cardiac structures and hemodynamics, following established protocols.
Operate and calibrate imaging equipment; manually position and adjust transducers to ensure optimal imaging results.
Accurately position patients and select appropriate anatomic and technical parameters.
Recognize and identify artifacts, pathologies, and equipment limitations.
Maintain compliance with safety protocols and quality control standards.
Assist in routine and complex imaging studies across various clinical settings.
Ensure all procedures adhere to institutional policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Technician.
Proven ability to perform both routine and advanced echocardiography procedures.
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, imaging techniques, and diagnostic standards.
Commitment to safety, quality, and patient-centered care.
Prior experience as a traveling technician is a plus.
Certification(s) relevant to echocardiography (e.g., ARDMS or CCI).
