Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 4x10 day shift contract in a cardiac cath lab setting.

Details
  • Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Call requirement of 5 weekdays and 1 weekend every 6 weeks
  • Weekend coverage included as part of call requirements
  • Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
  • 12-week contract assignment
  • Local candidates are accepted
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
  • Active professional licensure required if applicable
  • Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration
  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Additional Information
  • Candidates undergo a clinical review process prior to manager consideration
  • No special scheduling requests, alternate shifts, or schedule changes are permitted
  • RTO is capped at 7 days and may not be requested during the first week of assignment
  • If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO permitted; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler must be available for two, with one holiday RTO request eligible for review
  • Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
  • Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for a full year from all system facilities before returning as a traveler
  • Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed on time; late compliance results in a 2-week pushback due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule
