Cath Lab Nurse Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA
Schedule: Full-Time
Reports to: Director of Cardiology
About the Role
We are seeking a Cath Lab Nurse Manager to lead our Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab teams. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, staff management, and patient care excellence while fostering an environment of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cardiology, proven leadership experience, and a passion for implementing positive change within the department.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the Cath Lab and EP Lab, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflow
  • Manage 40-50 procedures per week, including PCI, diagnostic STEMI, ablations, angiograms, pacemakers, ICDs, and pulse field ablations
  • Provide leadership for approximately 50 full-time employees (FTEs), ensuring staff engagement and retention
  • Implement new techniques and best practices to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency
  • Foster a collaborative and positive culture by building relationships with staff and physicians
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Monitor financial and operational performance, optimizing resources for departmental success
