Job description
Temporary position ending April 30, 2027
- Work in collaboration with Director of Football Performance Science to optimize student-athlete health, wellness, and performance
- Manage daily data collection logistics (Catapult, ForceDecks, miscellaneous testing technologies)
- Support assigned teams in implementation and management of performance technology (GPS, heart rate, force plates, etc.), data collection, and data analysis (Python, R, SQL, MatLab, etc.)
- Build and manage Football Teamworks AMS integrations, forms, and dashboards
- Utilize data analysis and visualization methods to support the initiatives of the Director of Football Performance Science
- Support Applied Health & Performance Science and Health & High Performance Team initiatives
- Support the education of student-athletes, coaches, and support staff on topics related to health, wellness, and high performance
- Conduct testing and assessment protocols
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business analytics, data science, computer science, engineering, kinesiology, sports science, exercise physiology, biomechanics, statistics, physics, or related field
- 1+ years of practical experience in a high-performance sports science environment (NCAA Division 1, Olympic, professional sports organization) utilizing technology and testing equipment
- Demonstrated proficiency via portfolio of projects utilizing statistics, analytics, analytics software, programming languages, data visualization, etc.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, R, SQL, MatLab, etc.)
- Ability to collaborate with a dynamic and diverse interdisciplinary team
