Overview
We are currently seeking a PA School Certified Psychologist for part-time (20-30 hours per week) work with the Philadelphia Non-Public schools.
School psychologists work with students in grades K-12, providing psychological evaluations and determining services in accordance with Pennsylvania state law, IDEA guidelines, and Catapult Learning policy and procedures. Catapult Learning provides all testing materials and supplies. Salary range = $65-70/hr. W-2 position.
Responsibilities
How you'll be there for students:
Be their advocate, difference maker, and mentor.
  • Consultation and collaboration with school staff, families, and students.
  • Participate in an assessment plan meeting of students assigned for an initial or re-evaluation.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations that include, but are not limited to, assessments of intellectual, developmental, academic, social/emotional and behavioral status.
  • Interpret assessment results, create written evaluation report, and submit written report to all designated contacts within the required timeframe.
  • Lead assessment feedback meetings to review assessment results/findings/recommendations with all applicable parties present.
  • Maintain student caseload in compliance with state timelines and other state and company guidance.
  • Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Comply with all Catapult Learning and school district policies and procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Active Pennsylvania Certification in School Psychology
  • Catapult Learning employees are subject to state and local licensure and pre-employment screening.
  • Must be willing to travel to schools in Philadelphia where school psychological evaluations are requested.
