What You’ll Do

As a Power Generation Shop Technician, you’ll work on engines and generator systems that customers rely on every day:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, generators, and power systems
  • Repair, rebuild, and maintain industrial and power generation equipment
  • Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble components
  • Test, measure, and adjust system performance
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Complete detailed service reports and documentation
  • Stay current with evolving tools, technologies, and systems
  • Support occasional after-hours service needs when required

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience working on engines, generators, or power systems
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills (diagnostics & documentation)
  • Your own tools
  • A safety-first mindset and attention to detail

(CAT experience or technical degree is a plus)
