Position Overview

As the Inside Sales Representative, you’ll primarily be responsible for providing centralized support to a sales and marketing.  You’ll develop a strong knowledge of the products and solutions offered then use that knowledge to assist the NMC CAT Cat team in achieving the business goals.   You’ll focus on identifying new and continued revenue opportunities for existing and new accounts. At times, you may be the first point of contact with a new or existing customer, so you’ll build instant rapport then determine the right path to customer satisfaction.  

The Inside Sales Representative will be part of a high-performing sales team that will play a critical role in achieving sales goals. This position ideally would be located at our Doniphan dealership, but we would consider candidates in Lincoln, Norfolk or North Platte as well.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES 

  • Assist sales and marketing of NMC CAT to current and prospective customers to communicate our company’s capital equipment and product support solutions. 
  • Establish, maintain, qualify and nurture business relationships with current customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business. 
  • Proactively manage assigned accounts employing disciplined outreach campaigns and generating the first touchpoint to enhance the customer experience. 
  • Maintain accurate customer account information and machine population within CRM; develops and qualifies equipment and/or parts and service leads, forwarding to sales team as appropriate. 
  • Focus on sourcing new sales opportunities through outbound calls and other forms of digital touch points to existing and prospective customer. Conduct research to aid in developing prospective customers. 
  • Coordinate customer messaging and communication with Sales and Marketing Department to effectively promote the NMC CAT Cat brand and current programs.
  • Participate in ongoing internal/external training courses and various events, including NMC CAT specific training, online and instructor-led training, trade shows, marketing events, etc., to keep abreast of changes and enhance sales methodology knowledge. 
  • Provide coverage to assist incoming sales calls and walk-in retail customers.
  • Provide coverage and support for trade shows and customer events
