As a Field Foreman - EV Charging Stations, you are responsible for leading crews in the field and ensuring EV charging construction work is completed safely, correctly, and on schedule. You believe in doing the job right and being the best. And you're up for the challenge.
Responsibilities
As a Field Foreman - EV Charging Stations, you will support MasTec's national EV charging initiatives by supervising daily field activities across EV charging sites, coordinating crews, subcontractors, and equipment to deliver quality installations that meet design, safety, and customer standards.
This role is hands-on and field-driven, with a strong focus on safety, productivity, and workmanship.
This position requires travel in these markets (TN, KY, VA)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise daily field construction activities for EV charging installations
• Direct field crews and subcontractors performing civil and electrical work
• Ensure work is performed according to drawings, specifications, and scope
• Coordinate trenching, foundations, conduit, equipment setting, and charger installation
• Always enforce jobsite safety policies and OSHA requirements
• Conduct daily job briefings, tailgate meetings, and safety talks
• Monitor productivity, manpower, materials, and equipment usage
• Identify field issues early and communicate with Construction Managers and Project Managers
• Verify site readiness and coordinate inspections with AHJs and utilities as needed
• Ensure quality control and correct deficiencies before inspections or turnover
• Maintain accurate daily reports, time tracking, and job documentation
• Assist with commissioning support and site closeout activities
• Train and mentor crew members to support consistent execution standards
• Support scaling EV construction through repeatable field processes and best practices
• Represent the company professionally with customers, inspectors, and partners on site
Qualifications

  • You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
  • You are looking for long-term projects
  • You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team
  • You have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED), technical degree preferred
  • You have at least 5 years of industry experience
  • Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license, and clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
  • You have demonstrated expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge
  • You possess job-related certifications-First Aid, Safety, Rescue
  • You have the ability to operate aerial lifts, man lifts, skid steers, and aerial platform equipment
  • You must be able to read and interpret site plans
  • You must be able to pick up to 50 lbs., and capable of working up to 12 hours.
  • You have the ability to identify and distinguish colors
  • You have eMobility/EV Charging Installation, Troubleshooting and Maintenance experience
  • Low Voltage (up to 1000v) electrical experience
  • Wireless Network Configuration
  • You have possession of OSHA 10.
  • You have excavator training.
