Job description

We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Soft Count Clerk to join our Border Casino Soft Count Unit 2 team located at the Border Casino working 4:00AM-2:30PM - We Th Fr Sa.
Summary:
Collects and transfers all monies from gaming machines; chips and monies from table games, blackjack, electronic gaming and cash cage tips to soft count room. Responsible for all drops and fills of all kiosk machines, electronic gaming, table games and all emergency drops.
Responsibilities:
* Destroys used playing cards by using a machine to punch a hole in them
* Counts money collected for recording to ensure amounts are documented
- Counts paper and/or coin revenue
- Correctly transacts monetary exchanges
- Balances all accounts at the end of the shift in partnership with supervisor or manager
* Opens bill acceptors in the secured Soft Count room from electronic games and places the currency and ticket in ticket outs into the currency counter
* Completes appropriate documentation through appropriate computer system to be sent to accounting and delivers monies to vault area
* Takes currency and ticket in ticket out received from the kiosks and runs through the currency counter to separate the bill by denomination and send first count totals to Accounting
* Removes canisters from Blackjack, Poker and Electronic Game bill acceptors and places them on a secured cart to transport them to the secured Soft Count room for initial count and verification
* Performs all other duties as assigned
