Job description

Cash Management

Support the sales, promotion and maintenance of Cash Management and Remote Deposit Merchant Capture products to business customers.  Handle incoming business customer calls and educate customers on products.

Essential Functions: 

  • Contact prospective customers to present information and explain available products and services.
  • Determine whether the customer has a need for the products and services the bank provides
  • Prepare forms or agreements to complete sales
  • Follow up on leads from loan officers and tellers
  • In coordination with the marketing department, place sales ads to promote the products
  • Complete implementation process for the products sold
  • Setting the customer up with remote deposit at their place of business
  • Educate customers on how to use the products
  • Provide customer service to business customers following the implementation/set up
  • Assist Internet Banking/Cash Management position in the set-up of the cash management products
  • Work with the tech department on any technical difficulties with the products themselves or a problem the customer may be experiencing
  • All other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Banking experience with extensive training in the banking industry, rules and regulations
  • Experience using Excel, Word and Outlook software
  • Time Management
  • Mathematics – using mathematics to solve problems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Education/Training:

  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
  • Two to five years of sales and banking experience
  • Experience with banking products preferred

Status/Standard Schedule:

Hourly position 40 +/- hours Monday through Friday and any additional hours needed for business needs.
