Accounts Receivable Specialist
We're seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage billing, collections, payment applications, and account reconciliation activities for a portfolio of high-profile clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning their work, investigating discrepancies, and partnering with both clients and internal stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
You'll work closely with 12 key clients, each with unique invoicing and payment processes, requiring strong communication skills, professionalism, and a proactive approach.
What You'll Do
  • Audit invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client and corporate inquiries.
  • Process credit card payments and issue credits as needed.
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and account issues.
  • Apply payments accurately and ensure timely cash application.
  • Generate client statements and account reports.
  • Execute invoice billing with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Act as a liaison between corporate and field operations to resolve account concerns.
  • Support departmental goals and contribute to team success through additional projects and responsibilities.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Accounts Receivable and collections experience.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Experience handling collection activities, including professional written communication.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Curiosity and persistence when researching and resolving discrepancies.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with consolidated billing or government billing.
  • Knowledge of international/non-U.S. cash application processes.
  • ERP system experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant accounting/finance education preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
