Federal Work Study Eligible? Posting Number ST000988 Position Title Coffee Lab Student Barista Department School of Business & Entrepreneurship Division Academic Affairs Supervisor Amy Rogers Supervisor Title Coffee Lab Operations Manager Description of Job Duties
Provide barista service for events in conjunction with The Coffee Lab
Assist in the development of various signature drinks for The Coffee Lab
Assist in Coffee Lab engaged learning opportunities for the NCC and broader community
Assist in maintaining and cleaning of the espresso cart, machine and related coffee equipment
Assist in other coffee service prep as needed
Assist in training other staff on basic barista skills
Provide tours for visitors to The Lab when applicable
Do the job duties for this position include any driving requirements? Yes Job Qualifications
Currently enrolled as a North Central College student in good academic standing.
Show strong attention to detail and ability to manage time efficiently.
Ability to communicate with staff, faculty, students, and community members in a clear, professional, and friendly manner.
Ability to problem solve and use critical thinking skills.
Previous Barista Experience required
Will this position be working with minors? No Approximate number of work hours per week 2-6 (varies based on events requiring baristas)
