Position Summary
The Case Packer ensures that products are accurately packed, labeled, and prepared for distribution, contributing to the overall success of the production line.
Position Responsibilities
  • Pack finished products into designated cases according to company specifications and quality standards.
  • Inspect products for quality and completeness before packing, identifying any defects or discrepancies.
  • Operate packing machinery and equipment as needed, following safety protocols and operational guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and resolve any packing-related issues.
  • Assist in the labeling and palletizing of finished goods for storage and shipment.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.
  • Participate in training sessions and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packing efficiency and product quality.
  • Crider Foods requires all employees to comply with and support all Food Safety and Quality policies, programs and procedures to ensure our products meet and exceed consumers' expectation
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Experience

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Able to walk and stand, use arms and legs for long periods of time including wrist turning and finger manipulation.
  • Employee stands frequently with tasks requiring consistent bending, stooping, kneeling, or crawling to complete; Lift, carry and push/pull occasionally of up to 50 pounds is required.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to extreme temperature conditions.
  • Job locations can be consistently 40 degrees or below.
  • The noise levels at work are moderate to loud and hearing protection is required.
